OVEN & STOVE ISSUES

WON’T IGNITE

For an electric stove doesn’t ignite, ensure the stove power cord is plugged in and if all circuit breakers are switched on. You need to check the pilot light on gas appliances. If the stove power cord is plugged in and the pilot light is lit, that means another part will have to be repaired. The cause of the problem could be an infinite switch, surface element, burner igniter or broil and bake element.

OVEN DOES NOT HEAT

A burner or stove that doesn’t heat will not do much good. An oven will not heat when there’s a broken oven sensor or bake element. Your burner doesn’t turn on if an element breaks or when the burner switch or terminal block do not work. We know how to repair these common issues in no more than 1-2 hours after we arrive.

PROGRAM PROBLEMS

You can assume the control panel on a stove or oven is broken when the program or timer settings are not working. In this case, we are able to replace control boards for GE, LG, Sears, KitchenAid, Kenmore and many other brands of stoves, ovens and ranges. We offer a warranty on control panels and replacement parts we need for this type of stove repair service.

OVEN TEMPERATURE IS TOO HOT

You need a hot oven. Just not too hot! When the oven heat is out of control, it could be because of a broken thermostat or sensor. Our technicians can identify the cause of the problem and then fix it. But be careful if troubleshooting this issue for fear of skin burns from the very high and totally unpredictable heat source.

IGNITER WILL NOT LIGHT

A reoccurring stove problem is times where an igniter will glow but doesn’t light. The cause is sometimes from either a broken electronic control, surface igniter, safety valve or temperature sensor. We determine if we can fix these appliance parts or if we will need to replace the parts.

DOOR WILL NOT OPEN

New self-cleaning ovens are known to have door problems. The door won’t open after the oven cleans itself. We inspect the door latch, thermostat and seal to figure out why the door doesn’t open up and then complete the repair in order to correct the issue.
